In a few words...

As I was curious about Node.js, I created some test applications to better understand the language philosophy. While I was building a web application, I came along JugglingDB, a cross-database ORM for nodejs and the browser. That was certainly one of the best ORM (and it probably still is), so I decided to use it, and improve its performance and API for my needs. I am considered as the third core contributor.
